Introduction

After the disappearance of many chosen, the world is left in the hands of 5, Reaper, Eva, Joe, Lucas, and Canion. A family of great distinction, but even then, corruption was commonplace in the world. The 5 set out in a desperate attempt to equalize the realms, even beyond the towers themselves. To do this they formed a council of 15 of the most powerful men and women they encountered in the long years they spent to find peace. It took the group 150 years to organize themselves and estabalish an order, they call themselves "The Wandering Path". Barracks across the newly formed city of Alamen began the recruitment process, luring more and more men and women to arms under one banner. After those many years. humanity and all races began a technological arms race, jetpakcs a commonplace in society, guns, and all other forms of weaponry have remained. But with power, of course rivalry shall ensue, a group who named themselves "The Last Step" have begun brutal assaults on barracks, homes, businesses, and anything owned by the Path. This is your choice gentlement, join The wandering Path: The military power, or The Last Step: THe guerilla warriors.

Soon after the founding of The Path, a group of disgruntled civilians banded together, leaderless and nigh powerless, defeat looked imminent, until 2 of the original family that started it all defected. Sick of the lavishment and vast amount of waste, Lucas and Canion, two of the higher ranked generals, they defected to that guerrilla group, quickly rising through the ranks, until they both took control over 1/2 of the brigand, they have ruled this gang with an iron fist ever since, never faltering.


Stats
Stats, like in the last installment are being replaced by a level system. At the end of each session i shall give you a certain amount of levels based on many variables, but the base amount of levels per session is at least 2.

Races


Humans - The most common, dominant race. They are well balanced all around, most other races consider them the scum of the planet. If you pick human, after many long battles, you will gain the chance to choose a special training program, available only to humans that increase their abilities severely. A very social race, but they are not without conflicts. Average height 5ft-6ft, anyway from 120lbs to 180lbs would be average, they only use english to communicate. Found almost everywhere, but mostly in large cities.

Dwarves - The shortest race by far, enduring and buff. They make use of superior strength and higher quality weapons than most other races. After many battles, no matter where you are. The dwarf king himself shall appear to you and grant you one of his families priceless weapons. But not without a small price. Most dwarves prefer solitude, but they never deny a drinking partner. They are on thin ice with the elves. Average height is 3ft to 5ft, 250lbs, they use English when communicating to others, but within their own ranks they use a harsh language all their own. Will always attack any draconic hybrid without notice, for they fear not having their feet on the ground.

Elves - One of the tallest races, slim, fast, and flexible. They use their grace to their advantage over all else, known to pull off some of the most intricate combos. After they age many years and many battles, the elf queen shall appear, granting the elf in question a great increase in their power. Their cold nature makes outsiders shunned, but any within can see the merriment as they run from tree to tree. The dwarves have threatened than many times for protecting valuable ore deposits to save trees. They stand 6ft to 6ft 8 inches, average weight is 160lbs, they use English to communicate with the other races, but within their races they use the oldest language, merely known as the ancient language. Seen rarely within the Ancient Forest.

Angel - The good guys of the world, known for beauty rivaling the elves, they use their intelligence and strength to bolster their grace. Basic angels start with no wings, but after many long battles, they gain wings the color of their soul, they also gain a heavenly weapon. Demons and Angels are in a perpetual struggle over one another, most will attack the opposite on sight, even if they know their going to be bested. They stand 5ft to 6ft, 180 lbs, they too use English to communicate more effectively, but use a similar runic alphabet to the demons. They are seen By The Golden Mountain

Demon - Cold ruthless, evil, demons are the "bad" guys of the world, known for extreme strength and endurance, no the smartest race, but they are faster than angels. The basic demon starts with nothing that separates themselves from humans, no visible traits, but as they progress it becomes more apparent, eventually leading to bat-like wings, claws, horns, red skin, black eyes, and a long tail.Demons and Angels are in a perpetual struggle over one another, most will attack the opposite on sight, even if they know their going to be bested. They stand upwards of 7ft tall, 200lbs, they use the English language to communicate more easily, but sometimes will use a language of glyphs and runic lettering, mostly seen within The entrance to The Pit.

Marexian - Intelligent, cold, calculating, and highly graceful, although their strength could leave room for improvement, they are known for longer range attacks. They are an evolutionary race, which means they are almost always changing, no matter how slightly, this leads to them being able to manipulate almost and form of magic. Their bodies undergo many changes, but all basic Marexians have rabbit ears, 3, 5 foot tails, scales that can be retracted like armor, and many other abilities hidden from view to even themselves. They are the least numerous race, so seeing one is rare, as they prefer solitude. At war with no other races, but aren't fully accepted in society, except for the elves. The average weight is 160lbs, their height changes from 3ft-7ft, they communicate through the English language, seeing as their origins come from a vast mutation that took place millenia ago. Mostly seen about The Black Forest.

Vampire - Narcissists of the highest degree, believe in loyalty, strength and suffering. Vampires newly inducted share no ties to the vampire clans, but as they progress become more and more vampiric, until it almost defines who you are. They stand anywhere from 5ft to about 6ft, little more little less, an average weight of 130 pounds, they are known for their unique abilities that not all vampires will unlock. They speak using the English language and nothing more, the dark forest is where they call home. Naturally against the lycans, they will attack each other on site. As far as myths and legends based on vampires, try something, beware no light until you get farther developed.

Lycan - Furry, silent, strong, and enduring hunters of the night. All newly infected lycans have no traits that distinguish them from humans, slowly they change into new and intimidating forms. They stand upwards of 6ft tall, nothing more than 7ft, averagely weigh around 250lbs, they communicate using English, but converse to each other using a series of howls and barks, as well as facial expressions, they to are mostly unique from one another. At war with the vampires, the two will attack to kill on sight.

Draconic Hybrid - Humans through a mutation have gained the abilities of a dragon, ferocious strength, speed, and wisdom. The hybrids start as full humans with little draconic powers, but slowly gain over, the powers of the dragons, note this will take longer than any other race due to the sheer power involved. Height varies wildly, from 4ft to 7ft, weight too varies 100lbs to 300, they are perfectly unique from one another, no dragon like the other. Feared by the dwarves and are usually attacked on sight.


Animal Hybrid - Humans through another mutation that gain the abilities of a selected animal, nothing extinct. All animalistic hybrids begin as full humans, little differentiating themselves from others, maybe a couple claws or patches of fur, but slowly you will grow more like the animal you choose. Average height varies from 3ft to around 6ft, from 90lbs to 200, depending on the animal chosen you will be completely different from anyone of the same species. They are not hated nor have any rivalries, but since their population is small, a individuals actions to another race may spark a war.

Undead - The weak bodied, brutally efficient minion of evil. They change differently than other races, by absorbing part or all of the corpse of the defeated they gain strength and intelligence, soon they can become advanced enough to control their own minions, highly proficient with magic. Through bodily changes their height varies from 2ft to 7ft, weight at 70-300lbs, they cannot truly speak English until they become a little more advanced, though their moaning is coherent to other undead. They are hated and hunted by every race. But with so many being born the war has escalated.

Powers
Your powers are abilities, generally sealed deep within, it takes a whole lot of luck, and even more training and skill to acquire the different levels, or generations. Once per session you may try your luck and push yourself to a higher generation, any other attempts and there will be consequences. Powers differ per generation, eventually leading to a near perfect fighting stage.

1st Generation: The weakest and most straightforward generation, this one only enhances your ability-less weapon, generally giving it magical properties. This is the only generation you design, after this, all the others are made similar, stronger, faster, etc, all based on your choices.

2nd Generation: This generation adds a physical trait to the body in some for, whether another sword, armoring, or other alteration.

3rd Generation: An interesting generation that is usually different from the first in nature and power base. Mostly effects the entire body, it increases most fighting capabilities, but that all depends on what you gain from it.

4th Generation: A much different generation, it usually combines the first three in a new and exciting way, sometimes fully altering all of the body, mind, fighting capabilities, as well as weapons. Rather difficult to achieve.

5th Generation: A near perfect ability is granted in this form, allowing for a drastic increase in fighting skills, this generation will almost always be the most diverse. This generation is extremely difficult to achieve, most people dont make it this far.

6th Generation: The ultimate form, you become nigh untouchable to anyone below 3rd generation, this deals with a drastic increase in all aspects, known to grant multiple perfected abilities; gravity control, touch of death, etc. This is the most difficult form to obtain, those who do are rare in numbers and usually seclude themselves in risk of losing control of it.


The 15 seats of the counsel
The highest 15 warriors, mages, fighters, mercenaries, of the land. These 15 co-lead "The Wandering Path" they split power equally among themselves, based on rank. Number 1 being the strongest, 15th being weakest, they will accept any challenge at any time, one versus one, they fight to kill.


15th - Gorilla- Hand to Hand master of the 15. The Blackened Barbarian - Deceased
Fulmine - A odd man, not much is known about him except he can outfight almost anyone. The Rain Transformed

14th - Bunny - She is the ninja, the master of stealth arts, deadly at close range for her speed. The Cloaked Assassin

13th - Gecka - The lavish female, the seductress and master class thief. The Withered Rose

12th - Dresden - The heavy weapons master of the 15, his skills with the beastly weaponry cannot be matched. The Charismatic Dervish

11th - Lupin - The druidic master of the 15, his abilities are unmatched by any and all. The Ebbing Storm

10th - Drake - The lordliest knight, known for high jumping acrobatics and spear skills. The Grand Basilisk

9th - Giocolino - The master of illusion, deception, and trickery. The Twisted Harlequin

8th - Damien - The master battlemage, unrivaled by almost all. The Faultless Sanctum

7th - Sniper Wolf - As the name implies, he is the ultimate rifle shot of the 15, deadly at long range, hes no pushover at close range due to his knives. The God's Hand

6th - Yin - One of reaper's twin sons, he is renowned for his rapier swordsmanship. The Rising Tide

5th - Yang - One of reaper's twin sons, renowned for his claymore techniques. The Falling Mountain

4th - Rooster - An old man, he has the faster trigger finger in the 15, known for his dual revolvers, he can fight using a plethora of knives along his waist. The Weathered Soldier

3rd - Joe - Reaper's brother, his strength and endurance legendary among the 15. The Earthen Colossus

2nd - Eva - The supreme archer of the 15, she is equal in speed to reaper, faster than everyone else. The Graceful Huntress

1st - Reaper - A man who's past is known by few, fewer get the chance to ask. He is the strongest of the 15. The Cursed Specter



The Generals of The Last Step
The two strongest warriors among the group, they hold absolute power to 1/2 of the organization.

Lucas - A master lycan, brother of reaper and eva, his physical prowess is legendary, even to The 15. The Black Alpha

Canion - Reaper's twin brother, they share identical bodies, only Canion's overview of life is different, he believes everyone should serve under one power, and feels that under his and Lucas' reign "The Last Step" can succeed in freeing the people. The Darkened Sky

Magic
Ah yes, magic. Much similar to my last game, the magic in this is very free-form, the only thing limiting it is your level, which limits it greatly. There are many different elements, fire, water, earth, air, energy, darkness, light, metal, ice, poison, and acid.

Weapons
You decide your first starting weapon, nothing with any abilities, just a pure steel weapon, of your choice of course. Unless you have participated in at least 1 test session, you dont get any abilities, but those who have, you may change the ability of the weapon you gained and retwist it, remember i know how to nerf.

  • First Generation: The user is set ablaze in a flurry of dark and psychic energy, granting a boost to all combat aspects. The user can manipulate the energies at free will.

  • Second Generation: Quad Claymore Sephy!

  • Third Generation: Your body becomes black scaled as two large wings sprout from your back, your guantlet transforms into a demonic claw, your blades are now one massive claymore shrouded in black energies.

  • Fourth Generation: Your wings become pitch black angelic wings, a darkened aura erupts around him, his claymores all 8 of them now are hovering around him ominously, he grows claws and scales that cover his entire body, in his right hand Narsil forms, his old spear, in all its blackened glory.

Powers-
1st Gen: The right arm grows and mutates. It becomes an red, and scales like large plates form on the arm. Growing spikes on the forearm and two large blade like claws out of the wrist. The arm is capable of lighting on fire without harming me. Scimitar can also be lit like the mutated arm. On my back comes a small interno from a hole in the back of the arm, can use this to attack from both sides.

2nd Gen:back rips open an fire pours out from it, his back now covered in demon hide, large spikes potruding from them.


3rd Gen:Causes a pair of flaming demonc wings to rip from his back, his power levels rise highly, his clawed arm become larger and even more fire.

4th Gen:His entire body becomes massively purple and armored, bright purple spikes come out of his back, purple and black lightning come out of them, they arc outwards, his face is twisted into a void dragon head, his arms become covered in 3 seven foot blades on each one, his speed and strength boosted, intellegence is lacking.
