Based on Black Cat Anime
This IG takes place during the 3022s, and, to most everyone's astonishment, the planet has found a way to save itself. The resources are yet again abundant, poverty becomes, slowly, diminished with each passing year. Wars have decreased in number. In short, Earth has become the place many people once dreamed it to be…
However
Unlike War, Crime continues to flourish upon the planet. A large company called 'Kronos', whom is responsible for the world's current state, has created an assassination force to rid the world of crime and bring true peace to the planet. These assassins are known as 'Erasers'. Others, however, have created different methods for cleansing the world of crime. Instead of assassinating, these people, capture the criminals and hand them over to the Law, and are often rewarded with small bounties. These people are called 'Cleaners'. In this world, you must choose to be an Eraser or a Cleaner, and 'rid' Earth of Crime. Or you could choose to be a criminal yourself, or just go fishing…
Erasers:
Are ruthless Assassins whom kill anyone that Kronos deems 'evil', they start with custom clothing and weapons (nothing to big please). However, as an Eraser, you have zero freedom over your life, you do as Kronos tells you, or suffer the consequences, usually being death. Money is not an essence to you, as Kronos provides everything they believe you'll need. Erasers are commonly feared throughout the world just as much as criminals are, due to their ruthless nature and job. The job of an Eraser is simple, just to assassinate, or "erase" your target. Erasers start at the Kronos Head Quarters
Cleaners:
Usually ex-police agents or law enforcers, Cleaners simply bring criminals to justice, most often for a reward. However, unlike Erasers, Cleaners do not, and can not, kill their targets (no rewards that way see?). They act on their own free will, catching any criminal they please, usually those with the higher cash reward. As a Cleaner, you have no home, as you travel all over the world in search of 'big fish' so to speak. Unlike Erasers, Cleaners rely on money to obtain food, clothing, shelter, and most importantly, weapons. Cleaners start with basic clothing and laser knife/ laser pistol/laser sword. Cleaners start at Annette's Inn.
Criminals :
Civilians who take the law into their own hands, and do what they please with it, be it murder, theft, black mail, or rape (oh boy >.<). As a Criminal you are free to do what you please about anything, start a gang, join one, and become a serial killer, whatever. But as result, both Erasers and Cleaners hunt you down, the more well known you are, the worse they get. Criminals start with basic clothing, a laser knife, laser pistol, and five small bombs. Criminals start at Kimi City.
Influence:
The more the influence, the more well known you become, and are seriously taken. This also helps determine level ups, the amount of missions/bounties/crimes you can do and the level of intensity for each that you can handle. For Erasers, this helps with promotion and influence within Kronos. For Cleaners, this helps with reward size, and for Criminals, this affects the amount of fear your name creates, and the level of Cleaners/Erasers that are hunting you down. The more influence, the better. If an Eraser fails to kill his target, influence is lost, as for a Cleaner, if the Cleaner kills their target, influence is lost. As for the Criminals, doing acts of good decrease influence for them, also if they are caught, this also decreases influence greatly. Death for all classes decreases influence by half.
Inventory:
Holds your items, for Erasers, they start with their custom clothing and weapon. For Cleaners, they start with their basic, average clothing (jeans, t-shirt, nothing to fancy) and their laser knife/laser pistol/laser sword. As for Criminals, they start with their knife, pistol, the five bombs, and basic clothing (again nothing to fancy).
Money and ways to earn it:
For Erasers, this is completely useless as Kronos provides everything you need, for both Cleaners and Criminals; however, this is rather important. Cleaners gain money by turning in bounties, the more dangerous the bounty, the better the reward, also, the more influence you have, and the better of gaining a small bonus. As for Criminals, they can simply rob civilians, shops, banks, and all sorts of stuff. If in a gang or something of the sort, you can be rewarded cash for specific jobs that you carry out.
Advance Classes:
Obtained when Influence reaches a certain point.
Numbers: Elite Erasers, they are branded with a number on their bodies for identification. They carry much more powerful, customized weapons. They are also sent on the most dangerous and difficult of tasks, however, they have absolutely no freedom.
Sweepers: Elite Cleaners, they are well known Cleaners who travel around the world in search of the toughest criminals, and are often described as modern superheroes; however, they are often in debt due to the fact they are always traveling around the world.
Advanced Criminal: An advanced Criminal can be a serial killer, robber, and rapist, whatever. The more the crime the better the name, however, that also means the more Sweepers/Numbers will be after you.
Levels and Stats:
There are no Stats; this game is based on your ability to describe your desired action, your weapon(s), and your level. As for Levels, they are gained by the amount of jobs/bounties/crimes that you complete successfully; Influence also plays a major roll on level gaining.
